What all formats does Lingvopedia transcribes from?
Transcription from Audio: We offer audio speech to text and audio voice in the form of speeches, interviews, lectures, group discussions, etc. to text services for the following source formats – MP3, Tapes, Cassettes.
Transcription from Video: We provide accurate transcripts for Video files.
We can accept all digital file types including DSS, MP3, WAV, WMA, DVF, MOV, ZVR, AMR. We can also accept your iPhone or Blackberry voice recordings. Getting your files to us couldn’t be easier.
How do we send and receive the heavy files?
If the file size is less than 10 MB then, you can send them directly to us by email. Else, you can upload them straight from your PC to our website using our secure 128-bit SSL encryption simple file upload system i.e. FTP. If not both then you can courier the files to our mailing address addressing the concerned.
Do we maintain confidentiality?
Confidentiality is extremely important to us. We use only the latest security and encryption technologies so you can be assured that your work is safe during upload and storage. Our secure website contains the high level encryption, with SSL 128-bit encryption being used throughout. All transcription work we undertake is not outsourced to any other company. We adhere to a strict policy of deleting all work from workstations and servers 7 days after returning completed work to a client. It is a strict requirement that all our staff sign our company confidentiality agreement and contract. Staff is also regularly reminded of their contractual obligations to us to meet these requirements. If you have your own confidentiality contract that you wish us to sign, we will be more than happy to do so.
What are your rates?
Our rates for multilingual transcription varies from language to language, type of file, number of speakers etc.
What is your standard turnaround time?
A standard turnaround time to transcribe 1 hour of oral script in any language is 48 hours. This is based on 2 speakers but if you require transcription with multiple speakers or a faster turnaround, please don’t hesitate to ask and we will give you our best rate.
